MEMBER TESTIMONIES
“Joining Phi Mu has been one of the best parts of my college experience. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed, supported, and truly at home. The friendships I’ve made are so genuine, and I’m constantly surrounded by people who encourage me to grow and be my best self. Whether it’s spending time together, celebrating each other, or just laughing over the little things, this sisterhood means so much to me. I’m so grateful to be part of something so special!”

"Feeling loved and cherished are feelings everyone searches for, but at Phi Mu, you don't have to look far. I remember the first time I walked into the house during recruitment and feeling welcomed and appreciated by each smiling member. Joining the Alpha Delta chapter was a huge answered prayer of mine. Coming from a tiny high school out of state, I didn't know many people coming to Ole Miss. I had prayed all summer to be placed in a sorority that best fit me, and Phi Mu could not have been more perfect! The genuine care and compassion that each member has shown me throughout this past semester are unmatched character traits. Our values of love, honor, and truth shine bright throughout our chapter. I'm incredibly thankful for my friendships and bonds that will last a lifetime!”

“Coming from out of state, I had no idea what to expect, but from the moment I walked through the doors of Phi Mu, I knew this was where I was supposed to be. I had no idea of the outpouring of love and support I would gain from it. This experience has allowed me not only to build long-lasting friendships that have now become a sisterhood, but also to look forward to continuing them into the future. I will forever be grateful to Phi Mu Alpha Delta for all the memories, laughs, and friendships it has given me.”

A letter from our president
I hope this gives you a small glimpse into what it feels like to call Phi Mu home.
Running home on Bid Day to the top of Sorority Row is a moment I will never forget, but what has meant even more are the quiet, everyday moments that followed. Phi Mu is where I’ve found the people who celebrate with me in the happiest times and stand beside me in the hardest ones. It’s where I’ve been fully known, fully supported, and constantly reminded that I never have to do life alone. Coming to college and leaving home can feel so big, but this place, these people, and this sisterhood changed how that felt completely.
To me, Phi Mu looks like early mornings at the house, long conversations that you never want to end, and a kind of friendship that feels steady, genuine, and lasting. It's that moment when you realize staying to talk for five more minutes turns into hours, because you have found people that just get it. The feeling of someone giving you a long hug before you’ve even had the chance to say life feels heavy right now, because they just know you. Being surrounded by women who inspire me, challenge me, and love me so well. I can confidently say the girl who first walked through those doors during philanthropy round is not the same as who I am now. We are called to change and grow and I am so fortunate to have women and opportunities who grow me as a person.
It’s also about living out something bigger than ourselves; serving others, giving back, and holding onto the values of Love, Honor, and Truth in everything we do.Coming to Ole Miss from out of state, I hoped I would find a place where I truly belonged, and Phi Mu became that and so much more. It has given me a home, a purpose, and friendships that I know will last far beyond my time here.
Phi Mu is not just something you join, it’s something you carry with you forever. And I am endlessly grateful to call it mine. Serving this chapter has been the most rewarding season of life and I am forever indebted to this sisterhood and all the women who work hard to uplift it.
With Love,
Yussi Morales
